BECOMING A FULL MEMBER
Full members are individuals with high ethical standards and professional ability, with well-established reputations in their activities, acting in a personal capacity. They subscribe to the goals of the association and are active in the Brussels region – whether with the European institutions, with Brussels-based international organisations or in Belgian society, or elsewhere in Europe active in sustainable development. Full membership is for accomplished career professionals and by invitation or referral only. They are admitted by the Board. Other applicants are encouraged to apply as an associate member.
As a full member, you are invited to participate actively in organising events and publications, and propose new activities. You have voting rights at the Annual General Meetings, and are invited to members-only events.
Members pay an annual fee of € 125 which will be used for our operational costs.
The usual procedure is that two members of the Board (or two other full members) pre-assess the application and recommend to the Board whether to accept a membership application. The Board then adopts the new member.
BECOMING AN ASSOCIATE MEMBER OF THE CLUB OF ROME EU-CHAPTER
If you are working in the field of sustainable development and/or the environment, you could become an associate Member of the Club of Rome EU-Chapter, and hence join a network of motivated sustainability professionals. We ask you to write a short motivation (Why? What is my motivation? What might I offer the network?) and send us your contact details.and a short biography (long CV not needed). It is a bonus if you can offer to help organising activities.
Associate Members of the CoR-EU pay an annual fee of € 60 (or € 30 for students). Your application will be reviewed by the Board and you will then soon hear from us!
